Founder & CEO
My journey into massage therapy began during my time working in the dialysis field. In that role, I often assisted patients who experienced painful leg cramps during treatment. Over time, I developed a skill for relieving their discomfort through simple, intuitive techniques. Many of my patients would comment on how naturally gifted I seemed and often encouraged me to pursue a career in massage therapy.
At the time, my goal was to become a nurse, as I was committed to making a difference in people’s lives through healthcare. However, after the passing of one of my favorite patients—a moment that deeply affected me—I realized I could no longer continue in that environment. Still driven by the desire to help others heal and feel better, I chose to redirect my path.
That decision led me to enroll in massage therapy school, where I discovered a deep passion for the work and a new way to serve others. Today, I take pride in the care, skill, and professionalism I bring to each session, helping clients feel their best through the power of therapeutic touch.

As our Creative Director and Tech Support Lead, Lela infuses every aspect of the spa experience — from visual storytelling to digital booking systems — with her signature blend of artistry, mindfulness, and modern luxury.
As the spa’s in-house tech support and digital systems strategist, Lela keeps operations running smoothly behind the scenes. She oversees everything from our client management tools and online booking integrations to our virtual spa party systems, digital marketing automations, and brand analytics. Her goal: to make self-care effortless through seamless technology.
With an extensive background in lifestyle design, art direction, and digital entrepreneurship, Lela brings a unique creative lens to Relax Now. Her Afro-bohemian aesthetic and soulful approach to branding have shaped the spa’s signature look from our marketing visuals and seasonal campaigns to the serene, sensory experiences we deliver at every appointment. She ensures every touchpoint feels intentional, inclusive, and infused with warmth.
